Your guided visit begins at the 15th century convent of Santa Maria della Grazie whose refectory houses Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, the Last Supper. One of the most well-known artworks in the world, it is important for its subject which depicts a specific moment in time; for its use of perspective and for the very human emotions portrayed in the disciples reactions. 
 
Next, your guide escorts you to the Pinacoteca di Brera; Milan’s School of Fine Arts and site of Milan’s finest art collection.  Originating as a collection for the students, it grew in size and breadth to include major works by Italian artists from the 13th to 20th centuries. Here you’ll find works by Renaissance masters such as Raphael, Mantegna and Tintoretto.
