Madrid Walking Tour + Prado Museum

OVERVIEW

By 1512, Spain’s many kingdoms had come together with Madrid becoming the capital of a united country in 1561. In the 18th century, the rulers of what had become a large and powerful empire re-designed Madrid; creating monuments and spaces worthy of Spain’s eminence, such as wide boulevards, elaborate fountains and gracious squares. It was during this period that the building which is today the Prado Museum was constructed. The royal art collection, nucleus of the Prado’s works, was installed in the 1800’s.

Your local guide will escort you on a private walking tour on a discovery of this dynamic capital and to visit the world-famous Prado Museum.
