Mont-Saint-Michel is a rocky island granite in Lower Normandy , east of the mouth of the river of Couesnon , rock on which was built a shrine in honor of the archangel St. Michael from 709 .

Surrounded by the sea with one of highest tidal ranges in the world, the Mont-Saint-Michel is simply unique.

Enjoy the visit of the Abbey founded by Aubert at the beginning of the 8th century and which became a major cultural and pilgrimage centre during the middle ages.
